MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. As a result of 12 massive Russian strikes this fall, 30 Ukrainian defense industry companies and logistics centers have been hit, thereby significantly reducing Kiev’s ability to produce long-range weapons, including cruise and ballistic missiles, Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff Chief Army General Valery Gerasimov told President Vladimir Putin.
"In total, [Russian servicemen] carried out 12 massive strikes in September and October, striking 30 military-industrial complex enterprises and logistics centers involved in the production and storage of missiles and strike drones, as well as 14 fuel, energy, and transport infrastructure facilities. As a result, the Ukrainian industry’s capacity to produce long-range weapons, including cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as to procure the necessary equipment to support Ukraine’s industrial and energy sectors has been significantly reduced," he said.
