MOSCOW, October 19. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to Iran on October 19 for talks with his Iranian counterpart, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to Tehran," she told a briefing. "He will hold talks with the Iranian foreign minister. It is planned to discuss in detail current international and regional problems with a focus on the situation around Iran and Russia’s steps toward deescalating tensions."
