Sergey Lipovoy stressed that Ukraine had never had its own intelligence and had always relied on NATO and US satellite systems

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Without Western intelligence, the Kiev regime is effectively "blind" and "deaf," Sergey Lipovoy, Hero of Russia and the chairman of the presidium of the Officers of Russia public organization, told TASS.

In the early morning hours of October 14, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that the West had failed to warn Ukraine about ballistic missile launches for the second night in a row.

"Ukraine has never had its own intelligence and has always relied on NATO and US satellite systems. Ceasing intelligence sharing with the Ukrainian armed forces and the Kiev regime is tantamount to rendering them blind and deaf," Lipovoy emphasized.

Earlier, an air raid alert was declared in Kiev almost simultaneously with a reported series of strikes. According to Politico, the US informed Kiev that no warning about the recent strikes on Ukrainian territory had been received due to adverse weather conditions. On October 13, US President Donald Trump stated that his administration had not stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine and was helping the country, including by assisting it in reaching a final settlement of the conflict.
