EU conceals purchasing $320 bln worth energy source from Russia — RDIF CEO
Kirill Dmitriev also emphasized that the US-Russia diesel deal benefits US farmers, consumers, the energy market and the world
MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. The European Union and the mainstream Western media are concealing the fact that Europe has purchased more than $320 billion worth of energy sources from Russia, but are audacious enough to criticize the diesel deal between Russia and the United States, Russian president’s special envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev said.
"The EU paid over $320 billion to Russia for energy from the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict! The EU & legacy media hide this fact and have the audacity to criticize the US-Russia diesel deal that benefits US farmers, consumers, the energy market and the world. Truth matters," he wrote on X.
He attached a fragment from Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak’s interview with the Vesti TV program where he says that since 2022, European countries have purchased energy sources from Russia worth $320.7 billion.
