MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has been a platform for more advanced integration processes, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.

"The CIS format has paved the way for more advanced forms of integration, which is also very important," Peskov argued.

The CIS has multiple issues on its agenda, he said, and all of them will be covered at the upcoming CIS summit in Turkmenistan.
