GENICHESK, October 7. /TASS/. International organizations have made no offers to help residents of Alyoshki in the Kherson Region, providing only fine words and expressions of outrage, Governor Vladimir Saldo said at a briefing on the situation in the city.
"The conduct of organizations whose charters require them to act in people’s interests is a matter for their conscience. Apart from speaking eloquently and expressing outrage over what is happening, there is nothing. No offers of assistance have been made," he said, commenting on the international community’s response to the situation in Alyoshki.
Saldo also stressed that the region is ready to accept assistance if it is offered.
