Kiev complains to the West about Russia to wheedle more billions — Crimean legislator
The main thing is not to slow down or stop pushing Ukraine toward peace, Vladimir Konstantinov emphasized
SIMFEROPOL, October 6. /TASS/. Kiev hopes to wheedle additional billions of dollars in Western military assistance amid Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure, Vladimir Konstantinov, Speaker of Crimea’s State Council, told TASS in an interview.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada member Maxim Buzhansky said on the Politeka Online YouTube channel that Ukraine faces a difficult winter due to what he described as an advantage gained by the Russian Armed Forces through a "technological leap."
"I wouldn't be in a rush to take Ukrainian whining at face value. They like to complain and wheedle a few extra billion dollars out of others, or obtain air defense systems, missiles and drones to strike us. The main thing is not to slow down or stop pushing them toward peace," Konstantinov said.
The Russian Armed Forces regularly strike sites and infrastructure that support Ukraine’s military operations, including drone storage facilities, ammunition and explosives depots, vessels, ports and other facilities.
