MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Prospects should be taken into account, including the so-called post-lithium technologies, when developing production of batteries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting on energy storage issues.

"It is critical to look forward already now, to focus on creating advanced, cutting-edge solutions, including the so-called post-lithium technologies," the head of state said. "They make it possible to produce more energy intensive and ecofriendly energy storage systems," Putin noted.

"The support for the output of such innovative products and its components is provided in particular as part of the New Nuclear and Energy Technologies National Project," the Russian leader added.
