Mikhail Sheremet recalled that the atrocities committed by officers of the territorial recruitment centers had become an everyday reality in Ukraine

SIMFEROPOL, October 5. /TASS/. A large-scale armed uprising could break out in Ukraine due to ordinary people’s unwillingness to die for the corrupt Ukrainian elites and forced mobilization, Mikhail Sheremet, deputy of the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament) from the Republic of Crimea, said in an interview with TASS.

"I am convinced that the genocide and tyranny against the Ukrainian people – orchestrated and clearly supported by a number of European 'democratic' leaders – manifested in the forcible compulsion to die for values alien to them in the name of defending the interests of those who have repeatedly sold out and plundered the country, will inevitably lead to a large-scale armed uprising. The uprising will come crashing down not only on the heads of the corrupt Kiev regime clinging to power, but also on the heads of its European sponsors," Sheremet said.

He recalled that the lawlessness and atrocities committed by officers of the territorial recruitment centers, dressed in civilian clothes and preying on citizens in the streets, at workplaces, and even in their own homes, have become an everyday reality in Ukraine mired in corruption.

Since February 2022, martial law and general mobilization have been declared in Ukraine and repeatedly extended. The authorities are doing everything possible to ensure that men of draft age cannot evade service. Ukrainian social networks regularly publish footage of violent mobilization and conflicts between citizens and employees of military enlistment offices in different cities. Due to a critical shortage of people in the army, they are intensifying raids in public places, and men are trying to leave the country by any means, often risking their lives. The territorial recruitment centers officers themselves are often referred to as "manhunters."
