Authorities in the Ukrainian capital closed three bridges across the Dnieper river to traffic
MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. Russian forces continue to strike Ukrainian port and energy infrastructure facilities and maritime vessels involved in supporting the Kiev regime’s army, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
According to the Defense Ministry, a road-rail bridge over the Dnieper river in Kiev was hit. The bridge was used for logistical deliveries of military cargo for Ukrainian forces in Donbass.

- Russian forces continue to strike Ukrainian port and energy infrastructure facilities and maritime vessels involved in supporting the Kiev regime’s army, the Defense Ministry said.
Targets hit
- According to the Defense Ministry, a road-rail bridge over the Dnieper river in Kiev was hit. The bridge was used to facilitate logistical deliveries of military cargo for Ukrainian forces in Donbass.
- Russian forces also hit the Kievskaya electrical substation in the settlement of Nalivaykovka, which provides for the transmission and distribution of electricity to military-industrial facilities in Kiev and the surrounding region.
- In addition, Russian forces struck an industrial production complex at the port of Izmail in the Odessa Region. It received, stored and transported military cargo and fuel for the needs of Ukraine’s armed forces.
- A cargo ship carrying military cargo and dual-use cargo for Ukraine’s troops to the port of Odessa was also hit while sailing through the Black Sea.
Situation in Ukraine
- Authorities in the Ukrainian capital closed three bridges across the Dnieper river to traffic, the press office of the Kiev City State Administration said.
- Traffic on the Yuzhny Bridge was closed in both directions, while the Patona Bridge was also closed.
- Traffic on the Metro Bridge was closed only in the direction of the river’s left bank.
- The closure of three bridges across the Dnieper in Kiev led to traffic jams, the Ukrainian publication Insider reported.
- The publication also shared a video on its Telegram channel showing heavy traffic congestion.
