MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Washington has not yet decided on who will be its next ambassador to Moscow and has not yet requested a relevant agrement, a source told TASS.

"The agrement has not yet been requested, the United States is undecided about a candidate," the source said.

The US embassy in Moscow said on June 27, 2025 that the then ambassador, Lynne Tracy, had completed her mission and was leaving Russia.
