MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Ukraine itself is creating a humanitarian catastrophe in Alyoshki in the Kherson Region in an attempt to blame Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

She also noted that European plants manufacturing weapons for Ukraine are potential military targets for Russia.

Prospects for Ukraine settlement talks

Whenever preparations for a trilateral meeting on Ukraine begin, Moscow will "provide appropriate notification" of this.

Zelensky’s statements

Vladimir Zelensky’s latest statements about his readiness for a ceasefire have nothing to do with seeking peace, as he aims to secure a respite and continue the terror: "In reality, his statements have nothing to do with a genuine desire for a just and lasting peace. He merely needs a respite to replenish the Ukrainian armed forces’ losses in personnel and equipment so that he can not only resume hostilities but also escalate the conflict, as he has done before."

The Kiev regime’s lack of pacifist intentions "is proved by its continuing terror against Russia’s civilian population and infrastructure."

Potential military targets in Europe

European plants manufacturing weapons for Ukraine are potential military targets for Russia: "Arms factories in European countries that produce weapons for Ukraine are potential military targets for Russia. No one should assume that military plants outside Ukrainian territory that manufacture weapons for the Kiev regime will be safe. Anyone who thinks so is mistaken."

Kiev wants to turn Alyoshki into a second Bucha: "Recently, the Kiev regime has been hyping the dire humanitarian situation in Alyoshki, in the Kherson Region. Let us examine this piece of disinformation as well. They are trying to turn this case into a new ‘Bucha’ - ‘Bucha 2.0’ - and launch yet another media campaign. Naturally, they blame our country for everything and demand that international organizations intervene, condemn, and punish."

Kiev is "for some reason glossing over the main point": "Who is the true culprit behind the humanitarian catastrophe? Let’s look at the facts. Alyoshki is located about three kilometers from Ukrainian positions, which means it is within range of and subject to regular shelling by Ukrainian artillery, MLRS, and drones."

Lavrov’s meeting with German foreign minister

There are no grounds to view German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul’s meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly as a sign that Berlin is ready to restore dialogue with Moscow: "There are no grounds to regard it as a full-fledged sign of readiness to restore constructive and mutually respectful dialogue."

Wadephul "chose to read out a set of accusatory points against Russia rather than exchange views. Those points are already well known because the German leadership voices them regularly."

Western attempts to disrupt Russia-Africa Summit

Western countries are putting pressure on African states in an attempt to prevent them from attending the Russia-Africa Summit in Moscow: "As the summit approaches, we are seeing attempts by Western detractors to pressure our African partners in an effort to prevent them from traveling to Moscow."
