MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Russian assault teams seized a large number of weapons, military equipment and ammunition abandoned by the Ukrainian army in the liberated community of Tolstodubovo in the Sumy Region, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

The ministry said earlier on September 30 that Russian troops had liberated the settlements of Shabelnoye in the Kharkov Region, Tolstodubovo in the Sumy Region and Yegorovka in the Zaporozhye Region over the past 24 hours.

"Having gained their foothold in that community, the assault teams adjusted artillery fire while attack UAV operators uncovered Ukrainian nationalists’ movement routes from the air and timely struck the targets, depriving the enemy of combat reserves and ammunition delivery to its positions," the ministry said in a statement.

In their operations to clear enemy strongholds, Russian forces "came across a large amount of abandoned weapons, ammunition and equipment," it said.
