LUGANSK, September 29. /TASS/. Last week, the Belgorod Region was the most heavily targeted by Ukrainian forces, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told TASS.

According to him, over the course of the week, the Ukrainian armed forces struck the region more than 1,500 times.

He said that the strikes targeted facilities in the Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuisky, Volokonovsky, Graivoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Rakityansky, and Shebekinsky districts. Private homes, personal vehicles, apartment windows, specialized equipment, and power lines were among the main things damaged in the attacks.

"In just one week, 53 civilians, including two minors, were injured as a result of shelling by Ukrainian terrorists. Five civilians were killed," Miroshnik added.
