Metastases of Nazi ideology can be seen within EU and NATO member states, including the Baltic countries and Germany, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a news conference following his participation in the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

"We also emphasized the importance of uncompromisingly combating manifestations of neo-Nazism, primarily in Ukraine, but not only there. Metastases of this inhumane ideology can now be seen in other countries on our continent, primarily among EU and NATO members, in the Baltic countries and in Germany as well. This is particularly concerning," Lavrov said.
