Russia considers the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and members of the country’s top leadership an unacceptable act of coercive diktat, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during the general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

"We consider the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, members of his family, and members of the Islamic Republic’s military and political leadership an unacceptable act of coercive diktat," the minister said.
