UNITED NATIONS, September 26. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is holding a meeting with his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), a TASS correspondent reported.

Lavrov last met with Germany’s then top diplomat Annalena Baerbock on January 18, 2022.

The meeting is taking place at Germany’s request, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters.
