ST. PETERSBURG, September 25. /TASS/. Proposals for a peace settlement of the Ukrainian crisis are "on the table," but Russia will "give the matter careful thought" and make decisions based on its own interests, President Vladimir Putin has told the media.

"The so-called reconciliation and the proposal to resume negotiations - yes, they are all on the table; all of that is possible. But after everything they have done, we will give careful thought to what steps we need to take in this regard. In any case, we will make all decisions in this area - including a possible resumption of the negotiation process - based on the interests of Russia," he said.

He noted that on the night of September 19-20, the main day of voting in the parliamentary elections, more than 1,600 Ukrainian drones entered practically the Moscow zone. In addition, during the September 18-20 election period, the Kiev regime struck polling stations and attacked the homes of territorial election commission chairpersons.
