MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi have discussed the situation with Iran’s nuclear program in light of Israel’s and the United States’ strikes on peaceful nuclear facilities, the Foreign Ministry said after the meeting held during the high·level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

The ministry noted that particular attention was paid to "the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program in light of the strikes carried out by Israel and the United States on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities placed under IAEA safeguards."

"Other issues on the UN agenda that are of mutual interest were also addressed," the Foreign Ministry noted.
