MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Russia’s Uragan multiple rocket launcher crew struck a Ukrainian Bogdana self-propelled howitzer - a NATO-standard 155-mm caliber weapon - during counter-battery fire in the area of Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Their Bogdana was in action. We suddenly received the order: ‘To battle!’ We moved out and carried out the mission. Our reconnaissance UAV captured the strike, including the Bogdana itself, a large number of enemy personnel and vehicles. We completed the mission and withdrew," the ministry quoted the commander of the Uragan MLRS of the 25th Combined Arms Army of Battlegroup West, with the call sign Uran, as saying.

He added that his unit hits targets almost every day and destroys concentrations of enemy forces, strongholds, and military equipment beyond Krasny Liman.
