DONETSK, September 24. /TASS/. Talks on Ukraine should yield a "clear" result, which should be long-term peace, Head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said, answering questions from foreign journalists about the need for a negotiating process.

"We are not refusing to discuss this; our leadership speaks very clearly and transparently about negotiations, but they should have a clear result. And the clear result is lasting peace. If the talks are about this, then, of course, we need to talk," Pushilin said.

At the same time, Pushilin specified that if there is no constructive dialogue, the issue should continue to be resolved on the battlefield, which is "undesirable."

A group of 13 foreign journalists visited Donbass. The group included independent journalists, analysts and commentators from Brazil, Guatemala, Indonesia, Iran, Spain, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Madagascar, Pakistan, the United States and Slovenia, some of whom were in the region for the first time.
