MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko discussed cooperation in Africa with Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General of the Foreign Ministry's Africa Department Akbar Khosravi Nejad, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Khosravi Nejad is currently in Moscow for consultations between the two foreign ministries.

"During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current issues on the international and regional agenda," the ministry said. "They discussed prospects for cooperation between Moscow and Tehran in Africa," it added.
