MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. The talk in the West about an energy ceasefire in Ukraine, is nothing more than rhetorical exercises amid the ongoing supply of weapons to Kiev, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Commenting on whether the Western statements about the need for a ceasefire amid active military aid to the Kiev regime are mere rhetoric, he said: "Absolutely."

"Indeed, the militarization of Ukraine continues. European countries are trying to find more money to purchase weapons," Peskov noted.
