DONETSK, September 23. /TASS/. The liberation of Dobropolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) by Russian troops will complicate supply operations for Ukrainian forces in the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk metropolitan area, DPR head Denis Pushilin said in an interview with TASS.

"The main supply route to the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk metropolitan area from the Dnepropetrovsk Region runs through Dobropolye. <...> Our liberation of this locality will create significant complications for the enemy in organizing logistics along this route: such as the delivery of ammunition and provisions, troop rotation, the evacuation of the wounded, etc.," said the DPR head.

On September 22, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops had completed the encirclement of a major Ukrainian strongpoint in the city of Dobropolye and were moving further toward Aleksandrovka in the DPR.
