MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The West uses Ukrainians as cannon fodder, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.

"[European leaders] are using to inflate this situation (the conflict over the Russia - TASS) the situation in Ukraine. Ukrainians are being used as cannon fodder," he said.
