Russian MFA condemns Kiev’s terrorism against polling station heads in Zaporozhye Region
These brutal terrorist attacks can have no justification, the Russian foreign ministry said
MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The Russian foreign ministry strongly condemns the brutal and utterly unjustifiable terrorist attacks carried out by the Kiev regime against heads of precinct election commissions in the Zaporozhye Region, the ministry said in a statement.
"We strongly condemn these brutal terrorist attacks, which can have no justification," the ministry noted.
"Cold-blooded attacks on unarmed civilian officials, carried out using Western weapons and navigation systems, constitute nothing but a coordinated attempt by the [Vladimir] Zelensky regime and its Western sponsors to intimidate civilians and disrupt voting in territories that, back in 2022, used their freedom of expression to participate in a referendum to decisively say ‘no’ to Ukrainian Nazism and ‘yes’ to reuniting with their historic homeland," the foreign ministry emphasized.
