Over 4.2 mln voters cast ballots during early voting in 12 Russian border regions

MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. More than 4.2 million voters cast their ballots during early voting in 12 Russian border regions, including Donbass and Novorossiya, Central Election Commission (CEC) Chair Ella Pamfilova said at a briefing at the commission’s information center.
She noted that a decision to hold early voting had been made in 12 regions, particularly in Donbass and Novorossiya.
"As of yesterday evening, a total of 4,215,210 voters cast their ballots early. It’s the four reunited regions, that is, the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions. <...> There are also eight border regions that keep coming under attack," Pamfilova added.
