MOSCOW, September 9. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin described his initial round of talks with Vietnamese counterpart To Lam, who is currently on a visit to Moscow, as productive.

"I would like to report that Mr. To Lam and I have already begun our work and negotiations," the Russian president said during a virtual opening ceremony for a joint infectious diseases lab in Hanoi.

"We have held very productive talks in a restricted format, addressing key bilateral and international issues."
