MOSCOW, September 8. /TASS/. Moscow will give a harsh and painful response to Hungary for expelling Russian diplomats, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated.

"The response to the Russophobic lobby in Budapest will be harsh and painful," she told TASS.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban announced that the government had decided to expel ten Russian embassy employees in Budapest because it considers their activities to be incompatible with diplomatic status.
