ARKHANGELSK, August 13. /TASS/. Ideas about a possible moratorium on combat operations in the Black Sea are being voiced through various channels, but Russia has not yet received any formal proposals on this matter, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told journalists.

Commenting on the summoning of the Russian ambassador to Japan's Foreign Ministry, he noted that Tokyo is barking up the wrong tree.

Proposals on the Black Sea

Russia has not yet received any formalized proposals on a moratorium on combat operations in the Black Sea: "Recently, we have heard many calls for various kinds of moratoriums and ceasefires. These ideas are being voiced through various channels, but we have not received any formalized proposals."

UK initiative

The Russian Foreign Ministry is unaware of any British initiative to resume military contacts with Moscow: "I am not aware of any official reachouts from either the Foreign Ministry or the Defense Ministry of Great Britain."

If Great Britain really wants to enter into a political dialogue with Russia, the platform for this exists: "If our British colleagues really want to enter into some kind of political dialogue with us, the platform for this exists."
