LUGANSK, August 11. /TASS/. Almost 380 civilians, including 24 children, were injured in attacks launched by the Ukrainian army in the past week, while 43 people, including four children, died, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told TASS.

"Over the past week, attacks by Ukrainian Nazis affected 419 civilians – 376 people, including 24 minors, were wounded, and 43 more, with four children among them, were killed. <...> Most casualties among civilians have been reported in Kiev’s attacks on the Belgorod and Krasnodar Regions, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions," he said.

Miroshnik added that 95% of those affected by strikes – 399 people – sustained injuries in Ukrainian combat drone attacks. The Ukrainian army fired almost 7,100 different rounds of ammunition at targets in Russia over the past week.

According to Miroshnik, the enemy carried out a series of attacks on medical facilities and vehicles in violation of international humanitarian law.

"Civilians were injured in a deliberate Ukrainian drone attack on City Clinical Hospital No. 7 in the Kievsky District of Donetsk. <...> A 78-year-old woman died after sustaining injuries. Another two patients were seriously wounded. <...> In the Novaya Mayachka settlement of the Alyoshki District of the Kherson Region, a Ukrainian FPV drone hit an ambulance that was heading to help a patient suffering from a heart attack. As a result of the explosion, a driver and a paramedic were injured, while the patient died as medical professionals could not reach him in time," he said.

Moreover, Ukrainian forces continued to remotely mine Russian regions. In the Troshino settlement of the Kursk Region, a 72-year-old pensioner died and a driver was wounded after their car struck a mine. Another man was injured in the Krasny Oktyabr village in the Belgorod Region. "In the Zaporozhye Region, the Ukrainian military regularly employs drones to mine roads leading to Energodar, as well as those used by staff of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). In the past week, as many as four ZNPP employees suffered injuries after triggering mines that had been laid remotely," the diplomat added.
