Chisinau bolsters cooperation with Kiev — senior Russian diplomat

Mikhail Galuzin emphasized that any armed aggression against Transnistria would be fraught with catastrophic consequences for the aggressors

MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. Moldova is expanding cooperation with Ukraine and NATO member countries, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.

"Despite the systematic assurances from Moldovan officials regarding their intention to find a peaceful solution to the Transnistrian issue, the fact that Chisinau continues to strengthen its cooperation with Kiev, NATO, and its member states cannot but cause concern," he told TASS.

"Moldova’s leadership and the Kiev regime must understand: any armed aggression against the left bank (of the Dniester River, of Transnistria - TASS), home to more than 220,000 Russian citizens, will be fraught with catastrophic consequences for the aggressors," he warned.
