Ukrainian forces attacked Belgorod Region more than 110 times in 24 hours

BELGOROD, August 10. /TASS/. In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces carried out over 110 attacks against the Belgorod Region, with artillery strikes occurring seven times, according to Alexander Shuvayev, the region's acting governor.

He reported on the Max channel that the region faced a total of 114 attacks, targeting the city of Belgorod as well as the districts of Belgorodsky, Borisovka, Valuyki, Veydelevka, Volokonovka, Graivoron, Krasnaya Yaruga, Rakitnoye, Stary Oskol, and Shebekino. The assaults included seven artillery strikes and seven instances of explosive devices dropped from UAVs.

Tragically, five civilians were injured during this period, with four requiring hospitalization. Shuvayev also confirmed the death of one civilian in the Shebekino District yesterday.

Additionally, Ukrainian drones were actively engaged in the region, with 225 being shot down or suppressed within the last 24 hours.
