BELGOROD, August 7. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces struck several settlements in the Russian bordering Belgorod Region, leaving five civilians injured, the regional emergency response center reported.

"The Ukrainian armed forces launched strikes on our region. Five people were injured," the center said on Max messenger.

A woman and a man sustained shrapnel wounds after a strike hit the territory of a commercial facility during a missile attack on the Valuysky municipal district. An ambulance crew transported the injured to a local central district hospital. The strike also caused equipment at the site to ignite, and firefighters put out the blaze.

A Ukrainian drone struck a vehicle in the Belgorod municipal district, wounding a man. The man was taken to the Oktyabrsky District Hospital with multiple shrapnel wounds to the scalp and will be moved to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2 for further treatment after receiving medical assistance. Another man sustained acoustic trauma and abrasions to his temporal area and arm after a Ukrainian drone hit a vehicle in the Yakovlevsky municipal district. Medical personnel provided aid at the scene, and the man declined hospitalization.

Another man was wounded when an FPV drone hit a vehicle. The injured man was taken to the Shebekinsky Central District Hospital with shrapnel wounds to his face and legs.

The attacks also damaged a garage and a vehicle in the Rakityansky municipal district, as well as a private house, a vehicle, and an infrastructure facility in the Belgorod municipal district, according to the report.
