MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has removed Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport from the list of strategic enterprises, while instructing the Cabinet of Ministers to utilize a "golden share" mechanism in its management, according to a presidential decree.

The document was published on the official portal of legal information.

"The Government of the Russian Federation shall decide to exercise the special right of the Russian Federation to participate in the management of the Sheremetyevo International Airport Joint-Stock Company (the 'golden share')," the decree states.

When divesting the company's shares, the Cabinet of Ministers must stipulate conditions regarding the preservation of the airport's core business, the modernization of its production facilities, and a prohibition on their transfer to foreign control. The document enters into force on the day of its signing.

Approximately 66% of JSC MASH shares are owned by Sheremetyevo Holding LLC, while the Federal Property Management Agency (Rosimushchestvo) holds a 30.46% stake.
