ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 29. /TASS/. A woman was killed and a man wounded after rocket debris fell on an apartment building in Russia’s southern city of Taganrog, Regional Governor Yury Slyusar said.

"An air raid on Taganrog resulted in casualties. A woman was killed and a man was wounded as a result of rocket debris falling on a residential apartment building," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor also stated that "Residents of the damaged house are being evacuated and a temporary accommodation facility has been deployed."

Slyusar noted that the wounded person is under the required medical care. The governor also expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
