MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Moscow, in its communications with Washington, has underscored concerns that the transfer of weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces may lead to unpredictable repercussions for regional and international security, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said during a news briefing.
"In our discussions with Washington, we have repeatedly emphasized that supplying military equipment to the Kiev regime could have unforeseen consequences for stability both regionally and globally," Zakharova stated. "We also want to make clear that Russia considers such military convoys legitimate targets."
Regarding the specific attacks by Ukrainian forces on Voronezh on June 22, she advised reliance on official, verified sources of information, particularly the statement issued by the Russian Defense Ministry, which details the Western weapon systems employed in the shelling.
