Ukrainian attacks leave five civilians injured in Russia’s Belgorod Region in past day

Acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev said the Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Belgorod Region 130 times over the past 24 hours

BELGOROD, June 25. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces carried out 130 attacks on Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region in the past day, leaving five civilians injured, Acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev said.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Belgorod Region 130 times. The attacks targeted the Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuisky, Volokonovsky, Graivoronsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Rakityansky, Shebekinsky and Yakovlevsky districts. <...> Five people suffered injuries in the Volokonovsky and Shebenkinsky districts," he wrote on the Max messaging app.

Eight Ukrainian strikes involved aircraft, multiple rocket launchers and artillery, while in five cases, explosives devices were dropped from drones.

According to Shuvayev, 97 Ukrainian drones were jammed and shot down in the Belgorod region in the past day.
