Medvedev outlines options for regime change in Kiev
The Russian Security Council deputy chairman emphasized that legitimate government institutions were crucial
ST. PETERSBURG, June 24. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has outlined potential options for a regime change in Kiev, including elections, government overthrow, and taking control of as much territory as possible.
"There can be various options for changing the Kiev regime: it could be elections, if they choose to hold them, or the ruling junta could be toppled in a revolution, or as much territory as possible could be taken under control," Medvedev pointed out at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
He emphasized that legitimate government institutions were crucial. "All this will make it possible for the people to shape their demands and eventually live in security instead of being killed and suffering because of usurpers, corrupt politicians, and merchants of death," Medvedev said.
