MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the merits of Chinese leader Xi Jinping in achieving his country's brilliant results in various fields on the birthday of the Chinese president, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said.

"The Russian president asked to emphasize that under the leadership of President Xi Jinping the People's Republic of China has made truly impressive achievements in economic, scientific and technological development and other areas," he told a news briefing.
