Moscow maintaining private contacts with Kiev -— Kremlin aide

MOSCOW, June 7. /TASS/. Moscow has maintained private contacts with the Kiev regime, Kremlin Aide Yury Ushakov told Vesti reporter Pavel Zarubin an in interview.

"We maintain both open and private contacts with the Kiev regime," Ushakov said, commenting on a mysterious Russian businessman’s plans to visit Kiev and bring necessary information to Moscow. "Open communication was maintained when we held several rounds of talks," he recalled.

Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned the mysterious business leader as travelling to Kiev during his speech at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday, without revealing his identity. "Quite a key businessman has travelled to Kiev. Many know him," the Russian presidential aide said.
