According to the Russian diplomatic mission, Sergey Nechaev expressed disappointment that the German federal government failed to offer words of sympathy to the victims of the horrific tragedy
BERLIN, May 26. /TASS/. During a meeting at the German Foreign Ministry, Russian Ambassador to Berlin Sergey Nechaev expressed disappointment that the German government had not yet offered its condolences regarding the tragedy in Starobelsk, and presented photographs demonstrating the scale of the destruction at the scene, the Russian diplomatic mission told reporters.
Earlier on Tuesday, Nechaev was summoned to the German Foreign Ministry over the Russian army's retaliatory strikes on military targets in Kiev.
"This attack [on the college in Starobelsk] clearly confirms the terrorist nature of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev," the embassy noted. According to the report, at the German Foreign Ministry, Nechaev "expressed disappointment that the German federal government failed to offer words of sympathy to the victims of this horrific tragedy, choosing instead to remain silent about yet another crime committed by Ukrainian militants." "Photographs showing the scale of the destruction in Starobelsk were provided to the officials," the embassy added.
