Ten people remain in hospitals after deadly drone attack on college dorm in LPR

First responders said 32 people had been discharged for out-patient treatment

LUGANSK, May 24. /TASS/. Ten people remain in hospitals as a result of the recent deadly Ukrainian attack on a college dorm in the town of Starobelsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), a source among first responders told TASS.

"According to the latest information, ten of the wounded remain in hospitals, while the remaining 32 have been discharged for out-patient treatment," the source said.

Head of the republic Leonid Pasechnik declared a two-day mourning period in the republic, describing the attack as "cynical and barbaric."

He confirmed the information that the rescue effort is over, and the death toll stood at 21.

The Ukrainian military launched drones at the academic building and dormitory of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University’s Vocational College in the city of Starobelsk in the early hours of May 22. As many as 86 students aged from 14 to 18 years were inside at the time of the attack. According to official reports, 21 people were killed and 42 wounded.
