PERM, May 22. /TASS/. The Ukrainian conflict will end when threats to Russia are eliminated, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

"We are working on a solution that, as the Russian president has said, will resolve the conflict and eliminate threats to Russia’s security from the West in the long-term," he said at a meeting of the ruling United Russia party’s General Council Commission on International Cooperation and Support for Compatriots Abroad.

"This will mean eliminating the Kiev regime’s threats to people living in Crime, Donbass, Novorossia, and other residents of the former Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic who has been banned from speaking, thinking, and educating their children in their native language, as well as profess the classical religion of their fathers, grandfathers, and other ancestors," he stressed.
