MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev said he has numerous decent and wonderful friends in China.

"Like many other Russians, I can say that I have acquaintances, and friends in China. Whenever the word `China’ is mentioned, I think not only of economic figures and projects but of people, too. I won’t give specific names but I can say that they are decent and wonderful people," the senior Russian official told TASS.

The course of political relations between Russia and China is set by the two countries’ leaders, Trutnev noted. "Our regions are neighbors. And the broader course of political relations is set by the two countries’ leaders. At the same time, it is impossible not to say that these relations are built between specific people," he added.
