Air defenses down 25 drones over Sevastopol, Black Sea — governor

According to the Governor Mikhail Razvozhatyev, drone debris has damaged a high-voltage power line, causing disruptions in electricity supplies

KRASNODAR, May 17. /TASS/. Air defenses have shot down 25 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Crimean city of Sevastopol and the Black Sea, the city’s Governor Mikhail Razvozhatyev said.

"In Sevastopol, air defense units and our mobile fire teams are repelling a Ukrainian attack. Twenty-five UAVs have been shot down over the sea and various parts of the city," he wrote on Russia’s national messenger Max.

According to the governor, drone debris damaged a high-voltage power line, causing disruptions in electricity supplies. In addition, several apartment buildings and private houses were also damaged.

Razvozhayev added that a drone filled with explosives had been destroyed in the Kara-Koba area.
