Ukrainian attacks leave 10 Russian citizens dead in one week — Foreign Ministry

LUGANSK, April 21. /TASS/. Ten people, including a child, were killed over the past week in Ukrainian strikes on Russian regions, and more than 120 residents, including seven minors, were wounded, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told TASS.

"Over the past week, shelling has affected 133 civilians: 123 people were wounded, including seven minors, and 10 people were killed, including one child. <…> The highest number of civilian casualties was recorded in the Belgorod, Kherson, and Zaporozhye regions, the Donetsk People’s Republic, and the Krasnodar Region," he said.

Miroshnik noted that during attacks on civilian targets, Ukrainian forces used various types of UAVs, multiple rocket launchers, artillery, missiles, aerial bombs, and mortars. A total of 117 civilians, or about 87% of all casualties, were injured or killed by strike drones.

He added that during the week there were also reports of remote mine detonations in Russian regions, resulting in civilian casualties. "In the Donetsk People’s Republic, a resident of the village of Krutaya Balka sustained shrapnel wounds to his legs; in the Kherson Region, a resident of the village of Solontsy was injured; and in the Bryansk Region, one person was wounded in the village of Kurkovichi," he reported.

According to the agency’s source, Kiev launched nearly 3,100 various munitions at Russian regions over the past week.
