MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting via video conference with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

The main topic of the meeting was countering the financing of terrorism and other criminal activities.

"Dear colleagues, good afternoon. We have a very important issue to address today: countering the financing of terrorism and other criminal activities. Several speakers [are scheduled to make a speech]. Let’s get started," the Russian leader pointed out.
