Prime Ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan discuss economic cooperation

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Oljas Bektenov, with the increase of trade and economic cooperation being the main topic, the press service of the Russian Cabinet said.
"The telephone conversation between Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Oljas Bektenov took place," the press service said.
"The prime ministers compared notes on implementation of agreements reached during Russian-Kazakh intergovernmental talks on March 25, 2026 in Astana," the press service added.
"Particular attention was paid to building up trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation, implementation of major joint projects in industry, energy, transport infrastructure and other areas," the Russian Cabinet said.
