MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Russia and Egypt could discuss creating a grain and energy hub in the republic, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

At a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty in the Kremlin, Putin noted that the two countries have a lot of plans, many of which are already being implemented.

"We could discuss creating a grain and energy hub in Egypt," Putin said.

Among the projects currently underway, Putin noted the construction of a nuclear power plant in Egypt and the creation of an industrial zone.

"More than ten large Russian companies have expressed their willingness to work in this zone. And there are many other considerations," the Russian leader noted.
